Gohar, CFA has over 10 years’ experience in Finance, specialising in financial modelling services, including model developments and model audits. She has led model build and review processes on a number of Project Finance assignments in South East Europe including several in Turkey.
Gohar is well familiar with the guidelines and requirements for projects financed through PPP/PFI structure in various industry sectors. Notable projects include; İstanbul Strait Road Tunnel Crossing Project (Turkey), Korinthos – Tripoli – Kalamata Motorway and Lefktro – Sparti Branch (Greece), Comarnic-Brasov Highway Project (Romania), Corridor Vc (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Western High-Speed Diameter project (Russia), Fujeij Wind IPP Project (Jordan), Hydroelectric and Geothermal Energy Project (Turkey), Steel Processing plants in Istanbul and Iskenderun (Turkey), and PPP Study and Regulation (Cyprus).
Prior to joining DWPF Gohar was the Group Financial Modeller at Associated British Ports (ABP), where she was part of the Business Planning and Analysis team. Before joining ABP Gohar held a Senior Executive position at Transaction Advisory Services, Project Finance team of Ernst & Young, Greece. Whilst providing financial modelling services, she was also involved in advising public and private sector parties on procurement and renegotiation of PPPs/concessions, fundraising, refinancing, restructuring of debt facilities and M&As.
Gohar holds an MBA degree in Finance from the Athens University of Business and Economics and a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi, USA.
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
