Higher Education

Graham has over 17 years’ experience in Project Finance and has provided financial advisory and modelling services across a broad range of sectors.

He specialises in Higher Education and has recently advised Arlington Advisers on their acquisition of two student accommodation buildings in London and Leeds, with a funding requirement of c.£90M.  Recent experience also includes advising Campus Living Villages and Arlington Advisers on their acquisition of a £124M student accommodation portfolio, a £50M / 50-year PPP arrangement with Goldsmiths (University of London) and the acquisition of a £270M student accommodation portfolio.  Graham is also currently advising Durham University and has previously advised the University of Hertfordshire on the financial close of its £190M College Lane student accommodation project.  Graham has over 13 years’ experience of tendering for various university student residences and of closing numerous transactions.

Graham also has wider experience across other areas of infrastructure including; primary bidding, refinancing/restructuring and equity buy and sell side.  This includes significant strategic financial modelling expertise having previously led the financial modelling team for 7 years.

Graham joined DWPF in 2003 and prior to that held various senior financial positions in the Energy, Telecommunication and Property sectors.  He is a fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
